We have started to base our greenhouse emission factors on the marginal emissions rate for BC electricity from the Energy Start Portfolio Manager Technical Reference.  The Canadian Green Building Council and many scientific studies recommend the marginal emissions rate which takes into account the new renewable energy generation allowing more electrification of transportation and building heat.
